Launch an app

Launch a WordPress site

WordPress installed for you, then domain, SSL and email.

  1. Create it
  2. Open the admin
  3. Moving an existing site
  4. PHP version and email
  5. WP-CLI in the terminal

Create it

Launch an app → WordPress → choose a plan → enter your domain or a free address → keep Install WordPress for me ticked → pay. When it is ready, select the site in My apps and sites and press Open WordPress admin — you are signed straight in, no password needed.

Open the admin

Open WordPress admin signs you in with a one-time link. To set or change an administrator's password, open the site's details in My apps and sites → Change WordPress password.

Moving an existing site

Use a migration plugin (All-in-One WP Migration, Duplicator) to export the old site and import it here, or upload wp-content with the File manager and import the database (see Databases). Then update the database details in wp-config.php.

PHP version and email

Change PHP in Domains → PHP version. For contact forms to send reliably set up Email accounts for your domain, or use an SMTP plugin with your mail provider.

WP-CLI in the terminal

cd ~/web/yourdomain.com/public_html
~/.wp-cli/wp plugin list
~/.wp-cli/wp core update
~/.wp-cli/wp cache flush
