Launch an app

Deploy a Node.js app (Express, Next.js, NestJS…)

Upload or git clone, choose the framework, set variables, Deploy.

  1. Where the code goes
  2. Your app must listen on PORT
  3. Get the code there
  4. Configure
  5. Deploy
  6. Updates
  7. Node version

Where the code goes

~/web/yourdomain.com/app. For a monorepo set Application root in App settings (e.g. backend).

Your app must listen on PORT

We give each app a private port in the PORT variable and send your domain's traffic to it.

const port = process.env.PORT || 3000;
app.listen(port, '127.0.0.1');

Get the code there

cd ~/web/yourdomain.com/app
git clone https://github.com/you/your-app.git .
# or upload a ZIP with the File manager and Extract it

Configure

App settings → Framework: Express, Next.js, NestJS, Nuxt, SvelteKit or a static build. The install, build and start commands fill in; change them if your project differs. Add database URLs and API keys under Environment variables (paste your .env).

Deploy

Press Deploy: it runs the install (npm ci / yarn / pnpm by lockfile), the build, and restarts the app. Watch the output on the page.

Updates

cd ~/web/yourdomain.com/app
git pull
# then press Deploy — or, if only code changed and no new packages:
mkdir -p tmp && touch tmp/restart.txt

Node version

Choose it in App settings (18 to 26). In the terminal node is version 24; for your app's version run export PATH=/opt/cloudninza/node/22/bin:$PATH (change 22).
