SSH and SFTP access with a key

Turn SSH on, add a key, connect from your computer or FileZilla.

  1. Turn it on
  2. Get a key
  3. Connect (Mac, Linux, Windows PowerShell)
  4. FileZilla
  5. What you can reach

Turn it on

SSH and SFTP access → Turn SSH on. Sign-in is by key only — passwords are never accepted.

Get a key

  • Easiest: Generate and download — your browser saves a .pem file (we keep no copy)
  • Or paste the public key from your computer (~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub)

Connect (Mac, Linux, Windows PowerShell)

chmod 600 ~/Downloads/your-key.pem
ssh -i ~/Downloads/your-key.pem [email protected]
sftp -i ~/Downloads/your-key.pem [email protected]

FileZilla

Settings → SFTP → Add key file (your .pem). Then Host sftp://server1.cloudninza.com, your username, port 22.

What you can reach

You land in a private sandbox with only your own account's files; other accounts and system files are not visible. Tunnels and port forwarding are off.
